March 15, 2007. TM Vacuum has announced today that they have shipped the first of a multiple vacuum furnace system order to a major manufacturer of Metal Injection Moulded products in South East Asia.  The system will be used in the sintering of precision metal parts formed by injection moulding in a hydrogen atmosphere.  These parts will be used in the fabrication of industrial , automotive and consumer products.

The delivery of these multiple units will continue into the third quarter of calendar year 2007.  The systems were selected for their  precision control of temperature across the heated area.  Temperatures deviations of as little as +/- 3C can be attained through out a 16 cu ft hot zone.  The systems are also capable of debinding prior to sintering if required.  The customer has selected TM Vacuums controlled cooling option for these systems to enable control of grain size formation during the work cooling cycle.  The systems are also capable of rapid quenching if required.

The systems will be fully computer controlled to insure process repeatability.  They have the capability to be integrated into the customers LAN for central control and batch data logging.
